Church of Scotland National Stewardship Programme

We are participating in this programme by holding an event in the Church Hall on Saturday 16th June where you will be able to find out more about the work of the Church and meet representatives from some of the groups within the Church.  Invitations and information are being distributed by Elders with the June Communion cards and all are encouraged to attend this event, whether you are a member or adherent, whether you are a regular attender or haven't been to Church for a while. Come along, any time between 10am and 12pm, we look forward to seeing you there and refreshments will be available.

CrossReach - Directory Enquiry Number

CrossReach now have their own Directory Enquiries 118 number - 118 599.  It’s much cheaper than many of the other 118 numbers and costs 40p per call from a BT landline.  The exciting thing is that every time someone uses it, 9p goes to CrossReach! So next time you need to use Directory Enquiries choose 118 599 and you will be helping an excellent charity.

CrossReach continues the Church of Scotland's long tradition of providing care and support to ensure that each person that comes to them has the opportunity to achieve the best that their life can offer, regardless of age, ethnicity or religious belief.

World Mission Stamp Appeal

The appeal for used stamps continues. Many thanks to all who save their used stamps. This year's appeal is to help the work of the United Church of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, in particular the Mount Olivet Boys Home. These young people have come from a background of abuse and neglect and, through the care and love being given to them, are being allowed to once again live the life of a child.  Joyce Brown Tel: 01475 521215
